SUGA KÜCHEN

Introduction:
In autumn 2022, Keller Kitchen Centre, a renowned kitchen and appliance seller in Altrincham, underwent a company-wide rebrand; to represent the growing trend and demand of timeless Bauhaus design, as well as representing growth within a new chapter of the business. They wanted a more modern approach and a fresh new look to their company. To achieve this, they enlisted the help form our team at PCE Social. We were tasked with creating entirely new Brand Guidelines and collateral; business stationery, literature, fleet liveries. The new name, sugaküchen, was a playful take on the name of director Danil Sugakov, as well as reflecting the company’s love for German kitchens and contemporary design.

Background:
Keller Kitchen Centre has been operating for over 36 years, providing high-quality luxury kitchens and appliances to the people of Altrincham and surrounding areas. Their commitment to quality, design, innovation, and customer care has made them a trusted name within the industry. The transformation into sugaküchen allowed the team to invigorate their company and create a sustainable, contemporary brand that reflects their vision for the next 36 years.

Design Process:
We conducted a deep down to understand their clients, their target audience and their preferences – beginning by researching current and timeless trends in kitchen design and branding. We then developed a brand strategy that would help sugaküchen stand out in the crowded market.

The new branding uses Vermillion red and Electric blue as its primary colours, to represent the fundamentals of the company and cooking; heat, engineering, energy and passion meets cool, fluidity, water and wiring – as well as a sweet take on ‘suga’ lumps, stacked next to the name (i.e “one lump or two?”!). The size and spacing of these are directly carried over from the umlaut within kuchen – which doubles up as a smiling face to highlight their excellent customer service. The secondary colours encapsulated in the ‘hob’ centrepiece (which also doubles up as an ‘S’ emblem) contain Eucalyptus and Maize, representing sustainability and friendly customer service.  The branding is heavily influenced by the Bauhaus movement; a conscious decision to continue the ethos of fusing art with functionality, via simplistic yet forward thinking design. On top of this, inclusion and open mindedness, play an integral part in sugaküchen’s operations.

From a practical point of view, we mocked up an illuminated shop fascia ahead of its production, as well as positioning the window displays of the main brand logos at a height that matched the busy road outside; often prone to standstill traffic. The company fleet was adorned in Pantone-matched vinyl graphics – made easier from the comprehensive brand guidelines featuring inverse branding options for a variety of background colours.

Overall our approach to the rebranding project helped sugaküchen create a new brand identity that is bold and memorable, yet sharp and not too overpowering – all the while reflecting the client’s focus on high-quality, modern design.

The official rebrand launch took place on 22nd March, 2023.

JOHNSON GEDDES

Johnson Geddes have been with PCE Social since 2018; our sister company had already provided IT Support and maintenance at the time they approached us for Marketing.

Johnson Geddes have been helping people with financial problems since 2012 as licensed Insolvency practitioners.

We were approached by Paul as they were paying high rates for a website and Google Ads with a company in Manchester who at the time, had not optimisation the website to be responsive making it hard to read on mobile phones and tablets. They were also concerned that the were not getting ROI (Return of investment) for their spend on Google ads.

PCE Social rebuilt their website and took over the Google Ads campaign which is now running with a successful ROI. The Google Ads campaigns are managed and monitored daily to ensure they get the maximum conversion.

We have since re-build another website of theirs and continue to have great working relationship with Johnson Geddes. We have weekly meeting updates to discuss how the campaigns are running and work together to make a partner relationship.

In 2020, Google announced that only qualified partners could work with financial sectors with Google Ad campaigns in a crackdown to stop misuse. PCE Social are fully qualified and re-test on a yearly basis.

Due to the sensitivity of the data and and the FCA, we cannot provide any statistics, however, we continue to work together year on year which is proof in itself on how we have developed wonderful partner relationship.

THE STARVING MAN

The Starving Man have been with PCE Social since 2016 who originally asked us for advice on becoming more socially aware and increasing sales for their takeaway.

They are a family run takeaway based in Altrincham, who at the time, didn’t have a website or much of a presence on Social Media.

The owner, Rafel, asked us how we could help. In 2016 we designed and launched a new website in Feb 2017 backed up by an organic Social Media campaign.

The takeaway has shown a dramatic increase in sales; with the web traffic increasing by over 100% in the first 5 months of the website launch. Due to the ongoing success, we were asked to increase their budget to tie in with the company’s growth.

Google Ranking for the website increased due to the success and traffic on the website, it became ranked on page 1 for a lot of the relevant keywords as illustrated below.

Later In 2018 we started their first paid Ads campaign on Facebook and Instagram which was another huge success. The website traffic has had a year on year increase in which lead to the next stage of development.

The story continues with the Mobile App for IOS and Android devices. With the Coronavirus outbreak in 2020, many takeaways were forced to delivery only and Rafel asked us how we can help. We worked alongside Rafel to develop and App that has now replaced their ordering system. Similar to JustEat, the app works in a similar way, except there are no extra fees are paid to the provider. This has helped The Starving Man increase repeat orders and offer loyalty discounts to their customers. Rafel has since increased his budget for Social Media again to keep up with the demand.

INHOME MEDIA

InHome Media have been with PCE Social since 2019 who were look to save time outsourcing their social media content creation.

InHome Media are a family run home entertaining installation company who were already locally established with a fanatic present in their field of expertise. Working with InHome Media has been amazing as we love nothing more than a family run businesses, and because of their glowing reputation, it made selling their services a whole lot easier.

Partnered with his father, the owner Jamie was struggling to find time to manage his socials and turned to us for some help.

We designed and ran an organic Facebook campaign for most of 2019 and identified that one of the issues which we felt were holding them back was due to the UX on their website.

The site needed a new structure with a more effective ‘call to action’ attached to each of the services. We picked up that we could increase their leads by placing an easier to operate form on each of the service pages.

Media have a full site re-brand and now generates more organic enquiries that every before. The methods applied to the website had been tried and tested and increased enquires by over 30% in the first month. Applying analytics to the site also enabled us to check the growth and run social campaigns more effectively.

Late in 2019, Jamie added to his services with a Google Ads campaign targeted at TV Wall Mounting in localised areas. This has been successful, and Jamie is still using our services today.
